The ‘Iolani Palace in the district of downtown Honolulu in the state of Hawaii served as the only royal palace in the country and was used as an official residence by the reigning monarch. It is now a National Historic Landmark.

The Bishop’s Palace in Galveston, Texas is one of the most significant buildings in the United States of America. It is made in a typically Victorian style.
