Down to Road of Dunedin in your Car Hire

Otago Peninsula and Dunedin are the world's only albatross breeding areas on the mainland. You can spend an entire day around the peninsula and the Royal Albatross Centre. Car rental in Dunedin is a good idea if you really want to make the best of your trip.

The City Centre
The octagonal city centre is unique with the statue of Robbie Burns, the Scottish poet and a musical fountain. The city is known as the Edinburgh of the South and is New Zealand's main student city with the University of Otago which is one of the oldest universities. It also boasts of a museum and heritage buildings like the Central Railway Station and the Olveton Homestead all of which are worth visiting.

The Speight's Brewery is famous for its beers and located right over the well which supplies pure water for brewing. You can drive down the road in your rental car to visit The Cadburys Chocolate Factory which provides a treat for your taste buds as well as for your eyes.

A Sight to See
Tairoa Head is down the Peninsula Road which gives view of the entire city of Dunedin and Port Chambers. The Glenfalloch Woodland Gardens are along the way and at the top is the Larnach's Castle. The route is scenic and you can spend a whole day driving along the Peninsula Road.

The drive down in your Dunedin car rental will take you on a ride through some of the best tourist's spots that New Zealand has to offer.
